On July 1st , 2018, entrusted by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT), Qingdao Economic and Information Commission, in conjunction with Qingdao Municipal Finance Bureau, conducted the acceptance of the 2016 MIIT’s tire intelligent manufacturing project which is marked by integrated standardization & new mode and shouldered by Qingdao Sentury Tire Co., Ltd. Lin Yilong, general manager of Sentury, and other relevant project leaders of the company participated in the acceptance.
After listening to the project report, reviewing the data, checking the site, questioning and discussing matters concerning the project, the expert group confirmed that the project has completed the construction of a digital workshop with an annual output of 6 million pieces of PCR, and reached the assessment indexes required in the task statement and thus passed the acceptance.
Sentury tire is the only tire manufacturer that has been successively selected into "2016 intelligent manufacturing comprehensive standardization and new mode application" and "2017 intelligent manufacturing pilot demonstration project" list from MIIT. The company is committed to the R & D, production and sales of green, safe, high-quality and high-performance PCR and aircraft tires, and effectively improves the product quality and consistency by sticking to advanced production mode of intelligent manufacturing.
In the speech on project acceptance, general manager Lin Yilong stressed that there is no end for the innovation of intelligent manufacturing mode. This intelligent manufacturing project acceptance will become a milestone for us. It will spur us to continuously optimize the intelligent manufacturing mode and boost the standardization of intelligent manufacturing design in the tire industry with our intelligent demonstration plants. We will make great effort to take the lead in promoting "intelligent manufacturing" in the tire industry and step up the transformation between old and new kinetic energy so as to realize our strategic goal of "creating the world-class tire brand". We will keep exploring the field of integrated standards’ industrialization of high-end intelligent system in the manufacturing industry, and consolidating the current fruit in "intelligent manufacturing" and creating more achievements in this regard.
