MISSION
1、 As a database Specialist/manager in R&D center leads and performs Data Management (DATAMGT) and Applications Software (APPSW) for supporting Sentury tire’s all R&D, plant and marketing activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
1、 Design, develop, and maintain data management systems that meet the Sentury organization's requirements including R&D and marketing. This includes working on database design, data modeling, and optimizing database performance.
2、 Be involved in the design, development, modification, testing, installation, and support of new or existing software applications for the better activities.
3、 Maintain source codes of the programs.
4、 Coach junior engineers in advancing database capability as part of building the high potential team.
5、 Provide yearly and long-term plan of database including data analytics.
ACTIVITIES
Data Management (DATAMGT):
1、 Plan, develop, implement, and administer systems for data acquisition, storage, transfer, and retrieval.
2、 Design and maintain databases, including developing data models and integration schemas.
3、 Monitor and optimize database performance to optimize data management processes.
Applications Software (APPSW)
4、 Design, write, test, install, implement, document, and debug large and complex software applications.
5、 Maintain and upgrade software source codes as necessary including web application.
6、Provide technical guidance and support to internal team members and contract company.
PRE-REQUIREMENT
1、 Experience of at least 5 years in CAD/CAE or tire design or research fields within tire industry
2、 Be skillful in database management / schema design with complex databases (such as SQL server, ORACLE etc).
3、 Ability to bridge gaps between “tire domain” language (engineering) and “computing solution” language.
4、 Working knowledge of programming in Python.
5、 Data Analysis knowledge using any mix of software including, but not limited to: MATLAB, R, Minitab.
6、 Experience compiling and running code on high-performance computers.
7、 good knowledge of tire specification, tire design
8、 good level of English
